Photo Thursday: Nepal- Water from a Ghat

This is another of my favorite photos that I captured in Nepal. This mother and her children are filling their water jugs in this ghat. Ghat means “steps” and is defined as “steps leading down to a body of water.” In this case the body of water is more like a fountain with a well at the center.
More great scenes from Nepal and other places in Southern Asia coming every Thursday.

As always, check my Flickr photostream for more shots. And you can now buy poster-sized prints of some of these shots. Find them at my Zazzle shop.
